This was with a Intel Q6600 and Nvidia 9800 GTX setup. I just listed off my newegg shopping cart. I am stuck for now so sorry cannot help much further. I'm using an ATI card, I think that might be the issue.

Have a AMD chip about 2.1 Ghz and a 8800 PNY video card from NVIDIA, a 1000 watt power supply and 12 GB of good RAM. Analyzing small memory dumps is often difficult in that the complete contents of your RAM at the time of the system crash are not saved. All Rights Reserved. I do run a video editing suite with Sony Vegas Pro. it also seems to be alot of the community who bought metro 2033.

stock clock, underclock, overclock, reinstall game/driver/OS, restore. 5870 temps never hit 60c and my dedicated physx card never hits 55c. its dead now R.I.Ptime to get a msi r5870 lightning II! I am stuck for now so sorry cannot help much further. There is no way on earth that you need 16 gigs of RAM unless you're really into video/photo editing, but then you'd be using an Intel CPU not an AMD one.
And do any other games/Applications exihbt strange behavior? Out of the jumble I can see it is putting the steam exe as the cause for the BSOD. Windows can often run into problems if you have less than 10% free space.
