I couldn't delete them either. How can I solve these? Also the chkdsk /r ran properly, I didnt sit and watch it but after it finished it said it completed sucessfully eith no errors. Unfortunately I still received a BSOD during the installing devices phase. I rebooted a few more times, same result in the repair, no OS found. We update our images using VMWare every few months so maybe a Windows Update caused the problems - who knows.
