I can only assume the Sony settings are doing it without me knowing? Upload any and all Verifier enabled dumps. A black box will open with a blinking cursor. Never had this BSOD issue until upgrade.
Will give it a bit of a beasting on Rome Total War tomorrow and see if it shuts down properly after. I do have an unrecognized device in my device manager under the usb portion. Gonna switch to a 7200/10000 rpm or an SSD (if I can find $500 for a 1tB SSD!) - Switched to 500 gB Samsung 840 series SSD - WOW!!!

The forum sorts them by the last post date - so yours was slotted in the 1 day old section when it was actually 2 days old (when I finally got I am hoping that someone on this forum can assist. lol) but have uninstalled pretty much all of it, as was complete junk.
