Or to be more precise, I decided to switch cords - moving my entertainment needs from my cable to my Internet... The fix could be easy, so let's give it a try. Windows 10 Doesn't See Hard Drive
I followed your above instructions up to and including going to Device Manager > Disk Drives > and found the 'seagate expansion desk SCSI Disk Device'. I am having the exact same issue as you and haven't found any fix. I've now got 2 external drives (from different companies, different ages etc) that are not even seen by windoze.
And it should be described as Unallocated. The light on the HDD is flashing blue, but I am not able to see it. Please help. Second Hard Drive Not Showing Windows 10 I'm sure there are other options, but another OS is what really worked for me.
