really? I don't know what kind of board you have but I know with the HD audio it's quite easy to make one of the other ports your audio out. Edit: didn't have to look up anything just threw the plug in another port and a dialogue box popped asking me what the device was supposed to be. i had many problems with sound and i solved it My System Specs System Manufacturer/Model Number 4330 OS windows 7 ultimate 32bit CPU acer travelmate Motherboard intel celeron Memory 1 GB Threw it in my mic-in as Im sure I'll never use it. I'm not sure how it fixed itself the first time, but I tried a soft reset and it didn't solve the issue.
did you change anything on the motherboard? I have tested the speakers on another computer, they are fine. was going to get the phone replaced. How To Fix A Blown Amp Channel Use a good temp.

If one speaker channel won't play no matter the input, it's very likely a speaker issue (you can skip to step three, but return here if no solution has been found). It could be the Left/Right "balance" control has been moved to one side. Anyone know if there has been any updates on a fix or possibly located the cause of the issue [possibly a specific app?]? this content I tried playing music on my speakers and they never crackled/distorted.

The new motherboard's integrated soundcard has 6 audio jack-ports in the back (the typical multi-colored jacks for front/back/center/side speakers). I opened it up and saw no visible signs of blow out caps or resistors....Can anyone help me fix this ??
Hmmm i gonna have to look in to this. Add memory or anything where you could've moved the wiring? Ap well first of all gotta thank u for all the help u'r offering..i appreciate it. I believe it's realtek (I'd have to go check another computer to verify).

It has to do with something else within the system, being either the speaker wires and/or receiver/amplifier. Swap the right and left channel speakers.
