Can't Boot To Windows. HDD Failure?
and now won't boot. I disabled secure boot and enabled csm witch now seems to allow me to boot from cd usb ect but i have none my Os win 8 is stuck on the It worked! Step2. In safe mode, Windows won't load typical hardware drivers or any software that starts automatically at startup. Windows Starts and Blue Screens or Freezes If Windows crashes or blue-screens on you every time it boots, you may be facing a hardware or software problem. Some of the recovery software listed in Elvandil's post I referenced earlier may be able to see the drive, but usually windows would at least see that something was there. why not try these out

So 1 time i could access all my partition for few seconds was when the technician tried, next time was this RAW thingy. OR it could be that the drive needs special drivers to be loaded in order for it to be used within Windows. check my blog I don't know if you could set the policy on a different computer, then burn the security files to a CD and copy them over. This is hit and and miss and you can fry the drive, so I don't recommend this or take any responsibility for it, but I've done it before on my own I have a problem and i need to solve it very quick. even if you don't have it for this failure, don't get bit again by not having a solid cloud backup in the future. The drive is a friend's. I tried restarting but it did not work. laptop drives are almost always the smaller physical size - 2½" or maybe smaller while desktop and server drives tend to be the 3½" variant. I want to do a fresh install of windows on a new SSD anyway, but before I do so I would like to try and get more files off of both
I also have had it for over 3 years now so if it was a firmware issue it took a long time to take effect for me.
