Wallpapers Appearing At Login Screen?
Report Fiskr› sooote - Nov 12, 2009 at 04:53 PM I didn't have an explorer file either, so I deleted the entire Image_File_Execution_Options key. For example, my very first wallpaper was of Elsa from Frozen, and then something else from an anime Bleach. Been sitting here for about 5 hrs and nothing seems to work. Try the system restore and that should fix the problem. Check This Out
IT ALREADY HAD "Explorer.exe" in the value data but I changed it by making it "explorer.exe" (all small caps) and rebooted! Sadly, you will have to do this every time you log on, if you have a system restore point before this desktop problem, then do a system restore. __________________________________________________ To reply Can't be too sure as I don't have a Mac now) :-( but I remember it being in one of the early David Pogue "Macs For Dummies" or "Macworld Secrets" books No telling how much $$$ this saved me!

There's one picture that I'd like to save and make permanent. I have it enabled to do so, but the same image appears on every startup.
