You will find that some of those are installed yed. Windows Update 8007000e It's now finally downloading and not stuck on Checking for Updates. For me the update has only been stuck for a month for no apparent reason (last updates installed late september '16 and it is now october). Finally my windows update functional as usual.

Once started, it downloaded 157 updates which are installing now. Some times this folder is corrupted and you have to re-create it, in order to download and install updates from scratch.
