In the picture link I've included I decided to just try and install a few updates rather than the full amount, and it's still insisted on saying 0% downloaded for half I figured overnight it would finish. Yeah, the best route would probably then be the manual installer. the best news is you can not ever catch a virus, it just can't happen.
